Big Al's,

iPhone? HAHAHA. They can't offer anything other than the phone they have. Forget all this talk about the iPhone or blocking ports, etc. They aren't even offering data. One dumbphone. One overpriced plan. That's the offer.

The reason there are no investors is because they know this company will be out of business by Christmas. What customer in his or her right mind is going to pay for a phone in March to use in May, and then pay $40 per month when they can get unlimited talk and text on Wind in their province for the same price, but then have access to home zones all over the country?

This plan only caters to the bottom end of Montreal's cellular market. Except, that it's overpriced for the bottom end of the market. And it won't sell in Toronto where Wind and Mobilicity will be battling it out with about the same price point, but a significantly better handset selection and the opportunity to use data.

With what Public Mobile is offering now, they are doomed to fail. That's exactly why nobody is investing. Canadian or American or Elephant or Monkey.

I wish them luck. They'll need it.

Good job slamming your homeland and catering to the xenophobic viewers of Fox News. With that lovely interview (which for some reason you are proud to display on this website) you are going to alienate the very people you are targetting. How about somebody post your complaint about "Egyptians" in a Montreal or Toronto forum or blog catering to Arab Canadians, and let's see what happens?

I somewhat agree with Fransoise's point about Canadian investors holding back until they see some tangible proof, whether in the US or EU, simply because Canadian investors prefer less risk in general.

However, honestly I can't even think of a response to the quote "FOX is a FAIR AND BALANCE medium that’s sides with what is right and true…"

I can't even believe I let myself copy and paste this!

The problem is that it appears Alex didn't know what he was doing from the beginning and now he's decided he needs more money when he is supposed to have launched already. That's not a "good foot forward" for this start up company.

Hello Tony

It seems that Clint and MA as a Canadians don't know that canadian will support anything LOCAL only after it has been approved in the United States and in Europe. this also applies to the Artists ...as well as to investors of all kind.

This is a Canadian reality that YOU people from the left need to come to turn with...while benefiting of FOX input for paying less for your cellular services.

As an American and not from the blinded Left group, I am offended by Clint and MA's remarks...FOX is a FAIR AND BALANCE medium that's sides with what is right and true...

FOX for giving an interview to Public Mobile will put those from the GVT on noticeand dare them to do the right thing knowing that FOX News will be breathing down their neck.....We have a break in the States with Metro PCS and Canada needs the same with Public Mobile...

Warm regards Tony

Yes Canada is for sale, and PM went to beg USA investors for that.
Well,.....
Canadians didn't want to invest, so he had to go to the Americans and that is why he went to Fox.
Next time we see him on BBC, then he is trying to lure the British.
Good Luck.

Why is this on FOX news? No one in their right mind listens to anything FOX has to say. The main people who will change their mobile carrier are forward thinking people and FOX is a conservative news group. People in Canada also don't typically watch FOX, it's usually CTV, CBC or CityPulse etc. because they know that FOX doesn't apply to them. I think that you undermined your credibility as a company which is trying to pursue a more "open" mobile experience for Canadians.
