Total Cell Phone Satisfaction

By david | Posted March 30th, 2010

Being satisfied with your cell phone plan isn’t such a crazy notion is it? Then why is it that so many of us aren’t? Would you be surprised to learn that the majority of the people we talked to said they aren’t entirely happy with what they’re being offered- some are even anticipating the end of their contracts. We spoke to a few Montrealers to find out why they’re unhappy. The more we know, the better Public Mobile can be.

I have watched and read all of your blog. I was just seeing that in all the videos with questions in the subway always have the black girl with the frizzy hair with the purple scarf at the ending. There were a lot of other people in more than one of your video. Just saying that are you setting up some people?

Re: Total Cell Phone Satisfaction… I just got a Public Mobile for my daughter and took the all you can talk/text for 40.00 a month (great deal by the way). BUT I have a problem, it includes voice mail. My daughter is 15, half the time it takes 10 rings for her to hear the phone and pick up. Unfortunately now with voice mail, after 3 rings it goes to her VM inbox, most of the time I cannot reach her because of voicemail kicking in. I have asked that it be removed, no can do. I have asked that they change the number of rings before it goes to VM, no joy again… This is a deal breaker for me, if I cannot reach her cause of VM then the phone is no good for me. Surely there must be a way to have this resolved???

Wow, that’s service! About an hour after I posted this, I got an email from Christine of Head Office. She informed me that indeed there is a way I can have Voice mail removed completely from my daughter’s profile. Apparently the folks at Customer Support were not aware that it could be removed, Christine is going to change that and make sure that info trickles down to them. Hey no harm, still growing as a company, I get that but wow, I am impressed with the service! Personally I have a smart phone with Rogers, if I had that kind of service from them I might stay another 2 years but as it stands, I am looking for another provider, Just wish Public had a data plan !!!

    Thanks again Christine !
