    1. Cavendish, very weak signals, in most cases, can’t make or receive phone calls. occasionally, it was connected, but, the voice was chopped and was cut off a few seconds later. handset indicate signals fade away.
    2. sherbrooke west, weak signals, same situation as Cavendish.
    3. monkland, no service at all.
4.victoria, westmount, no signal at all.

try numerous times, never make a real phone call.

    please fix this ASAP.

    oh…
Plateau Mont-Royal is not even in this list for July…
Can you tell me when it should be effective?

    Remember a good management principle.
    Under Promise
    Over Deliver…!

    It will create happier customers…

Everything seem to work well so far but the only complaint from me is the signal is very low. I barely receive my text message or get mine while I’m working at the first floor building in downtown Montreal. That’s the only complaint for me so far. I’m not sure what they could do but keep up update.

More than that, probably I’m lucky enough that I live around coverage area. You guy looking to increase more coverage is fine but looking to increase signal on coverage area is excellent. So far you guy do a good job. Just keep update.

I wanted to change to public mobile to have it as a mobile and home phone. Unfortunately, I have no signal at home, and can hardly have one outside. Now I had to buy another go phone and transfer calls to this new phone because I did transfer my phone number to public mobile…..really sad……Can I be refunded and come back when the signal will be 100%

You say Côtes-des-Neiges will be improved , June 28th but still the reception is weak in building like Maxi&cie on Bedford and the Côtes-des-Neiges plaza please let us know when this will be improved. Thanks

What really scares me is that it seems that all given dates where rarely respected, a letter was mailed to me 06/24/10 to give me a free month, someone knew it would not work on 06/25/10 but no one in your Customer service did, i was told it was my phone , i bought a new one and spent more money for nothing, are we being told the truth ? I hope so, i need a phone to talk to my family and have to do without for at least a month now.

  12. Abm says:

After reading all these, I come to conclusion that Public Mobile for this terrible service, should give $40 monthly to their clients for testing his network, not charging them $40 monthly.

I always advised my friends not switch to Public Mobile before all problems settles down. Now, how long more it takes to have a a reliable service in great metropolitain Montreal.

I am with Koodo (15$ + 10$ unlimited incoming ). To this, I added Telsair call back service
( $10, Canada plan ). Now , I have unlimited incoming outgoing Canadawide for $35.

Extremely reliable service, vast network nationwide. I did not pay for the phone. I got a Sumsung U410 for $49 that I am paying off by tab.

  13. Mike says:

    To: Abm

Will give them a call maybe they will give you the $40 for all the terrible you have I did !!!!!!!!!!!

  14. DJ says:

Has anyone had luck or troubles in transferring their number from Fido? I have been to the PM store three times and the transfer still does not work after four business days! PM says they are supposed to text me when it does not work but I never receive a text or any updates from Public Mobile, I have to keep going back to the store to try it again… getting to be very tiresome.

  15. Mike says:

    To:DJ

I change my number for bell to fido and that took 10 day.

  16. DJ says:

My PM number works! For those transferring from Fido, they are SLOW to respond to number port requests, and you have to have the exact account number and other info to make it happen properly.

  17. Madeleine says:

Hey, I was driving in Verdun and it had 5 bars! Congrats with updating it! Anyways could you please improve the Pointe-Clare. Kirkland, Pierrefond, Dorval. Thank You!

  18. Sheldon says:

They went live too soon and are alienating people. What bothers me is THE CALL QUALITY SUCKS! This is a risky area of the spectrum to setup a cellular service in the first place. Maybe it just will never work well.

  19. Sheldon says:

Ok the major problem is that even when you are in a coverage area, as soon as you go inside, you lose signal. I will be returning the phone.

  20. Asad says:

Anybody from Toronto can confirm the same problem as Montreal.
Just because network in Toronto is on more than a month.

  21. joeyjoejo says:

    @asad

toronto is the same as montreal, lots of spots with weak to no signal, I havent seen any improvements to the spotty coverage so far, glad I didnt port my number over. I wanted to test it first, glad I did because after all the hype its not as promised….

  22. Jennifer says:

I’ve lost faith in Public Mobile.
What exactly did I pay for when I plunked down $140 back in April?? I still can’t make any calls from my house (which is supposed to be in the full network coverage area), and the coverage is spotty all over Montreal. I think Public Mobile should have rolled out their service when they were truly ready, or been more honest and upfront with customers like me regarding where the network would actually work and when.

Sorry Public Mobile but I’m leaving. At least Rogers and Bell have reliable service…
