Thameen & Alex

Thameen (left) and Alex (right) help introduce customers to unlimited cell phone service in Toronto

We stopped by the Wellesley Street store the other day and spent some time with two of the guys that work there – Alex and Thameen. They are excited to be working for Public Mobile and the opportunities it presents being a new company starting out. Both are currently students studying here in Toronto – Alex studying International Business, and Thameen studying Electrical Engineering.

Thanks for all your efforts guys.

This must be the dumbest post on a blog… what’s the point of this? give us some real news, network updates in toronto, new phones, data packages, etc. we don’t want to be introduced to two random people, especially if it’s not my local store…. a lot of people are losing interest in this blog or public mobile, because they have no reason to visit the website. make the website more useful… when can we pay online?

Retarded post, what’s going on with the service in Montreal ? It’s still VERY BAD.

Okay, just responding to “man” and “Karl”. First of all, everything takes time. Do you really think they can make data plans, new phones, phones…etc. Everything takes time, not just 1 day to make. I was in Verdun and Cote-Vertu and the reception use to be ba there. Now it is very good reception there. I don’t live there or anything, just went there to check out the reception. (Verdun + Cote-Vertu was updated). Also, Verdun had really good reception before they even started to update it(It was suppose to be updated July 1-5). It was working like 5 bars before that. I think PM is working there hardest to improve everything. Also I know “man” that these areas aren’t in Toroto, just setting an example that they are improving things through time. There’s no point in Saying bad things over PM and there problems because it’s not like your comment are actually making a difference in anyways.

Also, Karl…I don’t understand why you are complaining because they are giving you your plan for free until September.

Also, I don’t think this is a bad post. There allowed to be proud of there expanding stores. I am glad they have more stores to give more people there service. There are showing everyone with this blog post that they are expanding.

First, I was never told my plan is going ot be free until september,
secondly, my comapny’s offices are in Verdun, we struggle to get 1 bar, and that was so on the 5th of july 2010 ok ?

Stop taking it personally , kudo’s to those 2 for getting an education etc… Here’s a suggestion, since you seem to be into or taking public relations at hand. Split the discussion board with a few tabs, like one with signal tracking and complaints, you won’t really succeed at stopping criticism from coming in the way you’re doing it now.

I believe in the service and that sometime soon it’ll be fine, but right now, with the way it was sold to us, it’s FAR form being “working as intended” thanks for reading “man”
