We have had another week where a lot of work has been done behind the scenes to improve our existing coverage, and we have been building new sites that will let us expand our coverage as well.
In Montreal, we’re continuing to work on covering areas on the island of Montreal, Laval and the South Shore. Our network team was able to reinforce the following areas:
· LaSalle: Intersection of rue Airlie and ave. Stirling
· Mont-Royal: Intersection of chemnin St-Claire and ave. Standstead
· Mont-Royal: Intersection of chemin Churill and ave. Montgomery
· Saint Paul: Intersection of rue Jolicoeur and rue Mazarin
It’s a similar situation in Toronto. We’ve been working primarily in the areas that we’re expanding to in Mississauga and Brampton.
As mentioned last week, we’ll update the maps on PublicMobile.ca that show the new coverage areas as soon as we can.

I would have preferred to cancel my account instead of paying for the 25 of this month without can use my telephone at home. even if I am unlimited with my FIDO, when they call me, they find me at the inside as to the outside from my home….

You can not pay for one month and your account will still be in good standing. You can pay every other month until you get better service. From what I read you can make calls in your home. If you have unlimited with Fido, why don’t you stay with Fido until next year since PM will have the major clinks worked out.
Would you please give specifics on the coverage for the West Island… at the moment it’s spotty at best. It was suppose to be up at initial launch, then end of august, any plausible news would be nice.

FIX THE POINTE-CLAIRE AREA in the WEST ISLAND~
The west island was suppose to have full coverage by Sept according to PM. This was before the network went live. Why do people act like it is a surprise that the West Island has spotty coverage.
I constantly lose calls when I am using my cell at home. While the reception is fine, my phone loses calls too often 5 minutes into a conversation.
Public Mobile should be concentrating on expanding MOntreal and Toronto to the east like pickering and ajax …… from what it looks like, PUblic Mobile is really slow, it’s taking them a long time to do anything. IF they had the money they would just hire more people, money can make anything work here.
There is more involve then throwing money.
